It’s my pleasure to participate in
this blog tour featuring a novel that captured my attention from I saw these
words: crime never looked so good.
Blurb
Liam Gallagher, AKA Glitch, is the brain behind a trio of
corporate criminals. Formerly known as one of the most notorious hackers in
cyberspace, he now works to keep Hawk Global Industries one step ahead of its
competitors.
But there's a catch. Being blackmailed to do what he does best isn't how Glitch plans to spend the rest of his life, and his partners in crime feel the same way. When an old flame crosses his path unexpectedly, Glitch and company learn that betrayal is on the horizon for them. It's time to put a plan in motion and reclaim their freedom, once and for all. Things are going to get pretty nasty along the way, even a little sexy, but it's all in a day's work for a Corporate Hitman.

Author Bio
Olivia
Linden,
a native New Yorker, was raised between Queens and San Antonio, TX. Currently
living in Florida with her 10 year-old son, she decided it was time to follow
her dreams of becoming a full time author. Her creative itch began when her
elementary school principal posted one of her stories in the halls of her
school. She was only seven at the time, but old enough to understand how
integral writing would be to her future. From that moment on, reading and
writing became her two greatest passions.
Olivia is a newbie to the industry, but she hasn’t stopped writing since she found her literary voice all those years ago. Jaded Hearts, her first published novel, mixes her big personality, with a sexy yet humorous tone. It is her philosophy that laughter is essential to making it through even the toughest situations.

LeTeisha Newton is the author of a plethora of novels ranging from hot Interracial Erotica, Paranormal biters, Fantasy, and Urban Fantasy genres. She’s known for her extensive knowledge of shifter cultures, even outside of the generic werewolves and vampires, crazy world-building, and making shapeshifters feel like they are living right next door. That has led to her being dubbed the Shifter Queen. Some of her series include the best-selling Claimed and Taken Series.
I was given an ARC in exchange for
an honest review.
My attention was first captured when I stumbled on the first fan-made book trailer for this novel. My heart melted when I read the novel's summary and learned this would be a story told over three books. This is a novel approach to a plot and one, I believe, will inject some renewed interest in interracial/multicultural reading, specifically, and reading, more broadly.
We meet Glitch whose real name is Liam in an unfortunate scenario. We aren't told much but must follow him as he's carted to a room where we meet, not by name, the other heroes (Scratch and Jack) who will have their own novels. I love the pacing of the novel and the action sequence. Glitch is a computer geek but the authors don't bog us non-techies with too many techie-terms that we wouldn't/couldn't understand. As I read the novel, I got a clearer sense of Glitch and his friends as well as the man who they're all trying to take down.
Personally, I can't wait for Scratch and Jack's story.
Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Olivia Linden and LeTeisha Newton for an interview. A lot was learned and shared!

Allyn: Tell us about who you
are.
Olivia: Howdy! Well, I love talking about
myself. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and my first statement was an example
of it! I love to laugh, debate, discover new things, and connect with people.
Of course, I love to read and write. I’m a borderline introvert so I fluctuate
between being a homebody and having an active social life.
LeTeisha: My name is LeTeisha Newton, Romance author.
Are you traditionally published,
self-published, or a hybrid?
Olivia: I’m a self-published gal. While it
does have it’s challenges, I enjoy the control over what I produce. If I make a
mistake, then I have to work harder the next time. I’ve learned a lot from the
process so far and excited to learn more.
LeTeisha: I’m an oddball LOL. I’m a hybrid author.
Tell us about your most recent novel.
Olivia: GLITCH is a little different than
anything I’ve written before. The focus of the book is the main character,
GLITCH aka Liam Gallagher, who is part of a trio of corporate hitmen who have
been blackmailed by the same man in exchange for their talents. GLITCH happens
to be a hacker, and has to use these skills against their boss when the crew learns
he is plotting their demise. GLITCH a bit of an introvert, but has done enough
dirt to give him a bit of an edge. Through his relationships with his partners,
and an old flame from his hacking days, he learns how to balance his highly
technical mind with his passionate heart.
LeTeisha: Glitch is my most recent novel, written with co-author Olivia Linden.
It’s a Romantic Suspense novel surrounding three men, Glitch, Scratch, and
Jack, who form a bond together after being sprung out of jail to become
corporate spies. The man who sprung them out of jail, Eagle, though, plans to
double cross them, and the war is on. Of course it wouldn’t be romantic
suspense without them finding some amazing women along the way!
Please share one thing you learned about yourself during this co-writing
process.
Olivia: When you write alone, you don’t
really notice your ‘quirks’. Sometimes I need to let a scene set in my mind
before I can write it out. That doesn’t always work when you have another
person waiting on you. Learning to compromise during the creative process was
important.
LeTeisha: I learned that having a co-author is amazing, when you’re in sync.
Olivia could catch things my tired eyes couldn’t see, or I could fill in blanks
with some technical issues that arose writing about a hacker. We really fed off
each other.
Which GLITCH character are you most like
and why?
Olivia: Wow! I think I would be a mix
between GLITCH and his love interest, Araceli. I can be a bit introverted, but
I tend to joke around and relax with the people I’m closest to. Araceli was a
tech geek, but she also had a streak of feistiness to her.
LeTeisha: Oh Lord, that’s my Jack! He’s dark, tortured, and so broken. He thinks he doesn’t know how to love, but he understands loyalty, and nothing means more to him than Glitch and, especially, Scratch. I love that about him in every way.
How did the idea of the Corporate Hitman
series originate?
Olivia: LeTeisha and I worked on another
project together and after that we were talking and brainstorming. We both
shared our thoughts and the hitmen were born. We came up with the titles based
on each guy’s unique talent. GLITCH was a play on the fact that he is a hacker
who causes computer glitches for others.
LeTeisha: After completing Red’s Redemption with Olivia, writing under Mona King
and Danette Ardell, we went through a crazy brainstorm session about darker characters.
The Hitmen were born from that. Boy, am I glad about that!
Share two reasons why readers should
purchase GLITCH.
Olivia: If you like a fast paced adventure,
then GLITCH is for you. If you like romance with your suspense, then GLITCH is
for you. lol.
LeTeisha: It’s not like anything you’ve read. It’s not like anything I’ve written
before. Glitch just gripped me from the time we created his character to the
time I saw his story develop on the pages.
Any last thoughts.
Olivia: Thanks for the awesome interview. :)
LeTeisha: Get Glitch, because these three guys are amazing to know, and you don’t
want to miss a single part of the story!
Are you the hero,
heroine, villain, or a side character?
Huh. I guess I’m the hero, but I
wouldn’t be without my boys Scratch and Jack.
What is your name?
GLITCH is the codename that I use
now, a cute play on words the guys made up for me for being such a computer
geek. My real name is Liam Gallagher, but you’re not supposed to know that.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m not going to tell you much,
cause that’s just how I am, but I will tell you that all I need to be happy is
my hacker gear and my hacker chick.
What is one thing you want readers to know
about you?
I know I don’t reveal much of my
emotions, but I would hope that readers know how much the people in my life,
all three of them, mean to me. I would do anything for each one of them.
If you had to relive your life, would you
do anything differently?
That’s a tough question when
changing one thing would mean a totally different life. Even though things are
tough right now, I have a girlfriend and I have friends. I had none of that
when I was ZeroDoom, the most notorious hacker around. I was lonely back then.
If I absolutely have to answer, then my answer would be to have told Araceli
how I felt about her back then.
What is one thing you do well and one
thing you need to improve upon?
I know that I’m different and I’m ok
with it, but I have to understand my affect on other people and make sure to
balance my ‘glitches’ in communication.
Describe your greatest love.

What do you think of your creators,
LeTeisha Newton and Olivia Linden?
What do you think about God? Ha ha
Just kidding. I think they’re a pair of kick-ass ladies.
